Are you ready to take your adventuring to new heights and experience the wilderness in a whole new way? You will learn the skills of orienteering, how to use a map and compass and experience how teamwork is crucial for a successful expedition. You will take special trips to the wild places around Aspen while learning about the local plants and wildlife. Then, you’ll go on an overnight camping experience planned by you! That’s right, a big part of this ACES Adventure Week is learning how to plan your outdoor adventures.

How do bees build hives? How are trees used to create homes for forest animals and plants? How do animals and plants work together to build protective, nurturing environments? This week, we will explore our Hallam Lake environments to inspire our own natural structures and spaces. Campers will split time between Hallam Lake and the Red Brick Studios.
