Kindergarten Camps at Hallam Lake

Kids are transformed into Junior Naturalists when they join our knowledgeable and fun educators in adventuring, learning about, and exploring the natural world at Hallam Lake Nature Preserve, through a combination of natural history, art, games, nature explorations, and a few surprises!

When we are outside, we are surrounded by music. A roll of thunder, the chirp of a chickadee, the rustle of branches in the breeze, and the thump of your foot on a hollow log are all bits and pieces of a constant natural symphony. This week, we'll learn about the science of sound and the many ways animals communicate. We'll make music in nature, make music with nature, and make the most of the music all around us.

Come explore, as Jerry the Fairy guides us through the “Magical Forest.” Jerry, the protector of all things wild, will guide us on an adventure through lush, wonderful forest, inviting us to become stewards of this land. Come wander, discover, and imagine throughout a week of exciting adventures. And who knows where Jerry might show up!
