Come to Rock Bottom Ranch this summer to experience a week in the life of a farmer. Care for the ranch animals, work in the garden, take charge of egg collecting and learn to harvest ranch products to turn them into a delicious treat. Once your chores are done, head out into the preserve to explore the far reaches of the wetlands.

ACES’ environmental educators are experts in helping you develop basic mountain knowledge ranging from map-and-compass navigation to outdoor risk management and decision making. By the final day, you will know how to use natural materials to protect yourself from the elements, pack the perfect daypack, and identify local edible plants.
